SSC CGL Photo and Signature Requirements
The following requirements are based on the SSC CGL application instructions currently available. Check the final live application notice before submission, as SSC can revise instructions.
Live Camera Photo Capture
SSC CGL applicants are generally required to capture their photograph live through the application module when prompted. A pre-existing photo is not normally required.
- Use a place with good lighting and a plain background.
- Keep the camera at eye level.
- Face the camera directly and look straight ahead.
- Keep your full face inside the camera’s prescribed area.
- Do not wear a cap, mask or spectacles.
Signature Upload Requirements
The signature must be scanned clearly and uploaded separately. A blurred, miniature or incorrectly formatted signature can lead to rejection.
