Who Pays ₹500 or ₹1,000 for RVUNL JE 2026?
The ₹1,000 fee applies to UR (General), while eligible SC, ST, BC, MBC, EWS, PwBD (PH) and Saharias candidates pay ₹500. However, the recruitment rules contain important category and domicile conditions that determine whether the concessional ₹500 fee actually applies.
| Candidate Category | Application Fee | Important Rule |
|---|---|---|
| UR (General) | ₹1,000 | Fee includes GST. |
| SC / ST / BC / MBC / EWS / PwBD (PH) / Saharias | ₹500 | Concessional fee applies where the candidate is eligible under the recruitment rules. |
| BC/MBC Creamy Layer | ₹1,000 | Treated as UR (General); reservation benefit is not admissible. |
| SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS Candidate From Outside Rajasthan | ₹1,000 | Treated as UR (General) for this recruitment. |
BC/MBC Creamy Layer: ₹1,000
A BC or MBC creamy-layer candidate does not get the ₹500 concessional fee. The candidate is treated as UR (General) and pays ₹1,000.
Reserved Category: ₹1,000
An SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidate belonging to a state other than Rajasthan is treated as UR (General) for this recruitment and therefore pays ₹1,000.
Do not assume that selecting a reserved category automatically makes the application fee ₹500. Your category status under the RVUNL recruitment rules determines the applicable fee.
The prescribed ₹1,000 and ₹500 application-fee amounts include GST.
Applicable bank transaction charges for online payment are borne by the candidate.
Since the application fee is part of the final online application workflow, verify that your required details and upload files are ready before proceeding toward payment and final submission.
