RVUNL JE 2026 Eligibility
For RVUNL JE 2026, candidates must generally be at least 21 years old as on 1 January 2027 and hold the prescribed full-time four-year engineering degree or equivalent AMIE qualification for the Electrical, Mechanical or Civil post applied for. Final-year/semester candidates can also apply, but must acquire and produce the required qualification by document verification.

RVUNL JE 2026 Educational Qualification
Eligibility depends on the engineering discipline you select. The official notification specifies separate accepted degree branches for Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Junior Engineer-I posts.
Electrical JE-I
Full-time four-year Engineering Degree as a regular student or AMIE in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical Instrumentation & Control, Power Systems & High Voltage, Power Electronics, Power Engineering or an officially recognised equivalent qualification.
Mechanical JE-I
Full-time four-year Engineering Degree as a regular student or AMIE in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Production & Industrial, Thermal, Mechanical & Automation, Power Engineering or an officially recognised equivalent qualification.
Civil JE-I
Full-time four-year Engineering Degree as a regular student or AMIE in Structural, Civil Construction, Civil Engineering or an officially recognised equivalent qualification.
Common requirement: Candidates must also possess working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
RVUNL JE 2026 Age Limit
The age of candidates is considered as on 1 January 2027. The minimum age is 21 years, but the applicable upper-age limit differs for some companies and disciplines.

RVUNL JE Age Relaxation
Category Relaxation
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS male candidates: 5 years.
- General-category women: 5 years.
- SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS women: 10 years.
- PwBD candidates: additional 5 years as applicable.
Important Rule
- Most age relaxations are non-cumulative.
- PwBD relaxation may be added to the relaxation available for the candidate’s category.
- Separate provisions apply to ex-servicemen, widows, divorced women and certain in-service candidates.
Can Final-Year Engineering Students Apply?
Yes. Candidates who have appeared or are appearing in the final year, semester or examination of the required engineering qualification may apply. However, they must acquire the prescribed qualification and submit proof of it by the date fixed for document verification. Failure to do so results in rejection of candidature even after qualifying the written examination.
